Bale Gareth has decided to end his playing career at the age of 33.

Gareth Bale played 111 games for his country and was also a five-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid.

Bale helped the Welsh reached the 2016 and 2020 Euros before leading them in their first World Cup since 1958 at Qatar 2022.

Bale wrote on Twitter,   feel incredibly fortunate to have realised my dream of playing the sport I love so much."  "It has truly given me some of the best moments of my life."

Bale wrote on his official channels. "The absolute highest in 17 seasons, which will be impossible to replicate, no matter what the next chapter holds for me."

Bale began his senior career with Championship side Southampton, who introduced him to professional football when he was 17 years old, before moving to Tottenham Hotspur two years later.

It is believed that  his net worth as of 2023 is £119 million.

After six seasons in the Premier League, Bale was signed by Real Madrid for a fee of $107.45 million, a world record.

Bale said: "It is a dream come true to play for and captain your country 111 times."

Bell issued a separate statement to Welsh fans and the team, saying his decision to retire from international football was "the most difficult decision I have ever made in my career".
